We're TONY — Taste of New York Bagels & Deli — and we opened on Clark Street in Lakeview in 2019 with one mission: bring the real taste of New York City to Chicago.
How TONY started
Owner Sam Asous founded TONY in 2019, inspired by the quality of New York sandwiches and determined to bring that experience to Chicago without the New York price tag. The goal: freshest ingredients, top-notch service, and a spot worth coming back to.

Our menu is organized the way New Yorkers experience their city — neighborhood by neighborhood, all day long. Start with Brooklyn Breakfast and work your way through the boroughs.
